| About Us |
| History Robert(Bob) Perry began showing dogs in the mid 70's. What began as a hobby quickly blossomed into a full fledged profession. By 1979 Bob was ready to "quit his day job" and began handling full time. Although Bob specialized in Sporting dogs and other larger breeds, he has proven himself with smaller breeds as well. Bob has handled a Top Five Pug, Bearded Collie,Standard Schnauzer and Rottweiller. He has finished too many champions to count in his over 30 years of showing! Bob has also handled three German Wirehaired Pointers to National Specialty wins: Champion C Wobegone Warrior, Ch Cascade Kate Von Duffin MH ROM SUPREME and most recently Ch Larkspur's Windmill Winston. Sean began showing Arabian horses in the 80's. In 1995 she acquired her first show dog, a Miniature Schnauzer named Ch McIntosh's Roc N Roll Hoochiku, and transferred her show interests to dogs. "Rocky," won the Southern California Specialty as well as several group placements in his short specials career. Sean and Bob met in 1999 through their mutual interest in dogs. They married in 2000 at (where else???) a dog show! They got married at the 2000 German Wirehaired Pointer National. On the same day, Bob won the National with Ch Larkspur's Windmill Winston; at the tender age of 14 months old he was the youngest dog to ever win a national. What a day!. Welcome to Our Website! Hello and welcome to our website! We make our home in beautiful Central Oregon. Our kennels are nestled among the pine and juniper and overlook the Three Sisters range to the west, the Ochoco's to the east and Smith Rock to the north. Redmond is located on the edge of a high desert plateau at an elevation of approximately 3000 feet. We are considered semi-arid since we only receive about 8" of rain per year. Yet, we enjoy four distinct seasons. And, best of all because of the elevation and the year-round cooler temperatures at night, we are flea free!!! Our kennels, often lovingly referred to as "Camp Perry," or "The Perry Pug Palace," are small, private and only available to our show dogs. We offer a full service facility with secure fencing. Our training routines may include socialization training, conditioning, bicycle or treadmill work, or house and back yard grass time. Additionally, we offer full coat care, and we feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan, ShowStopper and Solid Gold supplements. We are a small personalized family business and try to show only as many dogs as we can reasonably care for. Please feel free to visit our website often since we will be always updating with new photos! Our mission is to provide our show dogs with a safe, clean and happy environment where mind, body and spirit are in balance so they are ready to be champions. We welcome your interest in us and look forward to meeting you and your show dog! Bob and Sean 541.504.9197 Aspendel@aol.com |
